On the eleventh day we went to Seaworld and for the first time I went on Manta and Kraken.
This is Manta.This game is a fun way to learn probability!

As the sun goes down and the moon is rising something else is rising as well.. Mice squeak a the floor falls further away. Out of the window they flew.
Above the puny houses,they flew, in search with on thing on their mind.CHEESE! Luckily there was a cheese factory near by. The mice swam taking big gulps of the cheese while doing the mousey paddle. After nearly exploding there little (but now fat) bodies they thought a nice rest would do them good.
Do you remember the old ladywhom had met the frogs? Well she was in for a even bigger suprise! They floated slowly into the house and sat on her lap , drank her coco and wachted “How to make the perfect cheese”. Soon the mice left leaving cheese on her remote!
In class we were set a task to write a witness statement for a lady called Mrs Bailey.This is mine…
Sleeping soundly,I sat on my armchair whilst my favourite show,emmerdale,was playing.It was quiet in the room but I didn’t know what was happening.Well,then I heard a big bang and with a jerk and a jump I saw large green creatures floating around.Now I know my eyes aren’t very good but I’m telling you something was there.I noticed that Emmerdale had been changed to MTV.It wasn’t me because I only listen to classical music.Then,I saw the slime on the remote and I knew that the toads,or frogs. I tried to shoo them away but they wouldn’t budge.Wanting a broom,I stormed into the kitchen and grabbed one from the cupboard.
I came back in and noticed that they had all gone. Feeling really upset,I saw that they had smashed my favourite lamp. Flabbergasted at the mess they had made,I picked up the broken pieces of china. That was my best lamp. It was a present for my birthday off my husband who,later that day, was took into hospital with a lung problem and two days later he died.
Weeping sadly,I threw the pieces in the bin. The TV was starting to annoy me as this person called Nicki Minaj (what a silly name) was singing,speaking actually,absolutely terribly. I hated the toads and I still do. My cat always checks downstairs before he goes to sleep.

I bet you have all heard about Fabrice Muamba collapsing on the field in the game against Tottenham Hotspur.I have seen it in the news paper that he has spoken his first words.We all hope he gets better soon and return to the bolton pitch.
My Holiday By Kate.

Even though it is on the 25th of May,I am super excited about my holiday to Disneyworld, Florida.We are going for twelve days to Marriott Village.We can pick any of the hotels to eat in and swim in. Our hotel is Fairfield inn. It will be super hot and I don’t think I can last. I will tell you about my holiday in June.
I think of a number then I add 73 and the end number is 296.What was my number.
First you place a coin into the meter then sit down , relax and let the machine do all the work.
When you sit on the chair and are strapped in then pulled to the table by some rope.This causes a large , heavy , bronze machine lowers from the ceiling and using 600 horse power suction the machine , well , sucks up all the mess on the table.
After that the machine comes down further causing it to touch the table.As a result a red glow comes from the machine which means that it is heating up the food. Soon after it the machine raises from the table leaving a lovely spread (food).
Finally a flamethrower brings down the candle and flame throws onto the candle causing it to be lit. The flamethrower rises leaving you to eat.

The Deadly Shark By Lucy P.

A diver was swimming in the rough sea when suddenly a great white shark appeared close to her.She was terrified.Luckily, a coastguard nearby saw her in distress, with the shark close, and came to the treacherous scene.The coastguard called for help from the helicopter, whilst trying to keep the shark from attaking the frightened diver.When the helecopter arrived , they lowered the ladder so that the diver could climb to safety.As the terrified women began to climb, the shark lanched it self out of the sea trying to bite her.She attempted to shield herself behind the ladder as she climbed.The shark knoked the diver off the ladder and back into the water.Lukily, a trust coastguard was close enogh to snatch her out to saftey.
The shark was guided by conservationists back out to sea, were it swam away .
In year five we have been playing on a wii game called Wild Earth African Safari.While playing the game not just one person with the controls we had five groups such as ;googlers,photographers,descriptors,counters and spottersand note tackers.
I realley enjoyed doing these activities however,the group I was in didnt get to be photographers but I still enjoyed it. When the class were not playing the game, we did lots of writing about what they did on the wii and what they saw so, if they got chased by a lion, they would write about it.
We did some reasearch about the Serengeti and wrote about it in a report,also we did a diary entry about what we did in the Serengeti wii game and made it seem like real life.When we did our end product of our diary entry on a safari hat made from paper.I realley enjoyed this.

Hello world I’m writing to all the teachers out there to encourage them to use a game console called the wii (pronounced:wee).
A game I would recommend is 
<- WILD EARTH AFRICAN SAFARI it is about you going around on a safari and taking pictures for a article. On the way the narrators will tell you how to play.For each assignment there is a article packed full of information such as there is 100,000 muscles in a elephants trunk!Its learning at a new level!Also the narrators will give interesting facts such as you can track a elephant and its age by its waste!
You’re probably thinking it’s all unfair with one person hogging the wii all the time but HA! We thought about that. You can separate them into 5 groups of 6 here they are and what they do: photographers they take 3 minutes each taking the pictures that are needed, descriptors describe the animals and scenery, the note takers take,well, notes of facts that the narrator has announced , the googlers google something that they don’t understand on a net book or laptop (1 beetween 2) ,the spotters and counters spot and count animals and record them on a tally chart.Well its pretty obvious the wii can get you’er level 3 to a level 5!
One of my favourite animals are dogs. My favourite dog is a King Charles Cavalier (left).
I also love white Chinchillas.
Me and my mum absolutley love Dolphins.
I also love baby rabbits.
I love little Kittens.

The ancient Olympic Games take us back a long time ago,all the way back to 776BC when they began in Greece.Did you know? thats 2787 years ago.Although they were held in honour of the king god,men still liked to prove they were fit and strong.Nowadays they are held all over the world in places such as,China,Tokyo and Sydney.Everyone is now looking forward to the london 2012 Olympics.
Events
There were many events at the ancient Olympics.Running was one of the main Games.They didn’t do horse racing because it involved a lot of falling off,the reason being because men didn’t have stirrups so therefore they rode chariots instead.The most enjoyed event was the wheelbarrow race when one man sat in a wheelbarrow and the other man pushed him.Did you know?the nastiest event was the pankration which involved a lot of swords and spears and many people got injured.they participated in three similar games called hammerthrow,discus and javelin.The winner of these events would recieve a wreath(crown)of branches.
When,Where,Why and how often.
The Olympics couldn’t be held just anywhere just anywhere. NO WAY! The games were held only at Olyimpia (Greece). If they wanted to join in they shouldn’t of hesitated because the games were only held every four years. The games were held in honour of the king god,zeus.
Who took part?
The ancient Olympics weren’t open to just anyone,no chance,.the Olympics were only open to men and boys.They had to speak greek and be prepared to compete naked.After 100 years,most women were allowed to join in.Some women snook in and disguised themselves and if they got caught they were thrown off a cliff.
How ancient and modern games are similar.
There aren’t many similarities but still there are a few.The most obvious similarities are that the participants still only want to win the game and that the modern Olympics are held every four years aswell.They also still do the hammerthrow,javelin discus,long jump and running in the modern events.
As you can see the modern Games are not really like the ancient Games.

Through the portal,regretting ever coming ,I saw the marvellous city of Atlucia.Like a jewelled crown on queen’s head,Atlucia stood proudly and magnificently on the rocky ground.When I turned round to step back through the portal,it disappeared into a dark and ebony hole.The lights in the city shone brightly like the golden penny in the sky at home.I saw large tilted towers as though they were about to fall……..
The sound of the wind whistling and the owls hooting came from every direction you turned.I heard an ear-shattering CRASH! as one of the rusty towers fell.The sound of fire exploding made me run and hide behind a bush.
I felt large spikes poking my back making me jump with fear.I ran to the castle and i Held onto the crumbling,ancient rocks.Holding onto a cold pole,Ifelt the large,gigantic boulder next to the towers wall.
All I could smell was the fresh air above me .As I walked around I noticed the sight made me want to stay in this beautiful place.The smell of the fire burning made me wonder if I was ever going to get home.

Cool is a very sad book.It is about a dog that gets run over then the owner gets run over to.He lies in deep coma.His favourite chelsea footballer comes to visit him.When he wakes up he gets to watch his favourite footballer score the winning goal against Man U.
This book is very moving , Michael Morpurgo uses a lot of imaginative description.Bertie is forced to send is white lion cub to a circus and the cub doesn’t want to leave Bertie.There is a massive friendship between Bertie and the cub.This book is great and I advise children to read this.

Since my mum is away in New York we don’t have to do hard work and unload the dishwasher. Relatives are cooking us tea so we don’t have to do anything. The bad thing is she comes back on Monday.
